Midland is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Midland follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

The onion rings were a huge hit! Everyone enjoyed their food and all items were prepared as requested. Service was friendly and knowledgeable. Food did not take a long time to come out either. I loved the lazy Susan in the middle of the table. Made passing appetizers around so much easier. The only complaint I had was the lunch menu was combined with the dinner menu, so it made things confusing when wanting to order something that wasn't available for dinner. Perhaps having separate menus would solve that. Or menus that state lunch menu ( with hours) then when you turn the page it says dinner menu. Overall we were very happy with everything. It is pricey, but portions were huge!

A stand out aspect of this restaurant is the design. It reminded me of a dining establishment from the 1970s, which is unique. Also, it’s located in the West Texas National Bank building. The bathroom is actually in the bank area. Generally speaking, the staff were friendly and professional. No issues with our waitress checking on us. Food wise, my wife had the steak frites ($65) and I had the chicken ($34). Both dishes were cooked appropriately and tasty. We had french fries as an appetizer ($12). The drink menu is a decent size, but I only had a beer ($7). The dessert menu is very limited, but I didn’t bother with it because it was very overpriced for what was offered. One option was $16 and the other was $24. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves and will likely return.

Overall this place was just okay. The service was good and the food was decent. The prices just don’t match the quality at all- would be more likely to go back for the Lunch menu because I think they do the simple dishes better. The feta dip was good but nothing special, husband said oysters were good but short rib was just okay. We ordered appetizers and our main food came out less than 2 minutes later- the table was tiny so we had to stack things and the waiter tried to take our appetizer that had just come out to make space.. not sure why they didn’t time the entrees better. What will stop us from going back is paying $65 for a small steak (which the steak and sauce were very good, no complaints about that) BUT frozen fries? If you want to have high end prices you have to have quality ingredients to match it! Pictures included were after the first bite, so don’t judge the presentation on that.. it was a lot better when brought out.. everything was plated very nice originally! Just disappointed in the quality vs price

I stopped by Georgie’s in Midland, Texas, and had an outstanding experience. The atmosphere is sophisticated and upper class, making it a perfect place to unwind in a refined setting. From the moment we walked in, everything felt polished and well put together. The drinks were excellent, and the food was just as impressive. Everything came out hot, fresh, and beautifully presented. You can tell they take pride in both quality and consistency. It’s the kind of place where you can enjoy a great meal and premium cocktails in an elevated environment. Valerie was our bartender, and she absolutely took care of us. She was attentive, professional, and quick with our drinks while maintaining a great attitude the entire time. Her service truly elevated the experience. If you’re in Midland and looking for a sophisticated, upper-class dining experience with exceptional service, Georgie’s is definitely worth the visit. I’ll be back.
